Who Are We
Welcome to AirportGuidesWorld.com, your trusted companion for everything related to airports and aviation. Whether you’re a traveler navigating bustling terminals, an aviation enthusiast, or someone who just wants to know where to find the best coffee before your flight, we’re here to help.
Why We Started This Site
We’ve all been there—wandering through an unfamiliar airport, wondering where the decent food is, which security line moves fastest, or whether that lounge access is actually worth it. We built this site because we got tired of piecing together information from a dozen different sources every time we traveled.
Our team has collectively spent thousands of hours in airports. We know which ones have great architecture, which ones have terrible WiFi, and which ones you should definitely arrive early for. That experience goes into every article we write.
Meet Our Writers
Mike Rodriguez
Travel Writer & Former Airline Operations Manager
Mike has logged over 2 million air miles—yes, really. After spending 15 years in airline operations, he now reviews airport lounges, terminals, and the overall travel experience. He’s the one who knows exactly how long that connection at O’Hare will actually take.
Sarah Wilson
Aviation Journalist, Former TSA Public Affairs
With 12 years covering commercial airports and a background in TSA public affairs, Sarah knows the security process inside and out. Based in Denver, she covers everything from terminal renovations to the best airport food spots. She’s also the person to ask about that TSA PreCheck thing.
Marcus Chen
Defense & Aerospace Journalist
Marcus brings a different perspective—he covers military aviation and defense technology. When we write about airports with military connections or the history of aviation infrastructure, Marcus is our go-to expert. Former defense industry analyst with deep knowledge of aircraft systems.
What We Cover
We write practical guides about real airports—terminal maps, parking tips, lounge reviews, and honest assessments of what to expect. We also dig into the interesting stuff: airport history, architecture, and those quirky details that make each airport unique (like Portland’s famous carpet or Denver’s conspiracy theories).
