Grand Island Airport
I will admit it – when someone mentions Nebraska airports, Grand Island probably is not the first one that comes to mind. But Central Nebraska Regional Airport has been quietly serving this part of the state for decades.

The airport has been around since the mid-1900s. They did major renovations in the early 2000s, and honestly, it made a huge difference.

Look, it is not Denver International. But for a regional airport, Grand Island covers the basics well. TSA screening moves quickly here.
Several airlines operate out of GRI, mostly connecting to bigger hubs like Denver, Dallas, and Phoenix. For a city this size, having any commercial service is impressive.
Regional airports are economic engines. If you are flying out of this part of the country, give GRI a look.
